Welcome to my first blog post ever! I decided to write, which is something I love to do, and share some behind the scenes images and video as sort of a peek into my brand…essentially what it is all about!
Honestly, the latest collection started from me foraging for shells on the beach across the street from my house. I have baskets, jars and boxes of shells from years of growing up on Folly Beach, S.C. then moving to Melbourne Beach, Florida, now Indialantic. They look great in the glass jars, but I felt to the need to utilize and wear them. Enter the paint and here you have the Amber Sands Collection., named after one of my favorite spots to relax near Sebastian Inlet. Each piece is hand painted in my studio and is a labor of love.
Shells never go out of style. Ancients civilizations have been adorning themselves with shells for centuries. What better way to honor history and nature by being part of sustainable slow fashion.
